Before we start talking about happiness according to Islam, I want to put things into perspective. First, there are approximately 4,200 religions in the world, and 77.1% of the world’s believers belong to one of four major religious groups: Christianity (31.4%), Islam (23.2%), Hinduism (15.4%), and Buddhism (7.1%). 7% of the world’s population identify as atheist.
Islam is said to be one of the fastest-growing religions in the world. Yet, no single religion has ever become the default for the entire world, so there is still room for debate in this area. For many people, their religion is chosen for them at birth, depending on the family and country into which they are born.
To me, this is important because many religions, including Islam, claim to be the “only correct religion,” and that following or rejecting it determines whether one goes to heaven or hell. This raises a critical question: What if we are following the wrong religion? What if I was born into the wrong family or country? Personally, I’d like to avoid hell if possible.
The Core of Religion: Spirituality, Happiness, and Well-Being
All major religions, including Islam, are built on the idea of spirituality—a connection to a higher power, such as God, energy, or otherworldly questions. They address what exists beyond this life, which is significant because many people make life-altering decisions based on their religious beliefs. Ultimately, spirituality is deeply connected to well-being and happiness, whether in this life or the next, thus linking these two perspectives.
In Christianity, for example, the concept of happiness has evolved. Initially, Christians were incentivized to suffer in this life to achieve happiness in the next. Over time, they realized they could pursue happiness in both this life and the hereafter.
In Islam, however, there is still a predominant focus on the next life, often at the expense of well-being in the current one. This is, of course, an issue, as people are often told to suffer and inflict suffering, hoping that this behavior will lead to eternal happiness.
From the perspective of happiness, all forms of negativity and violence are conducive to unhappiness and should be condemned. Moreover, if you understand spirituality, you realize that violence and negativity are anathema to spiritual practice, regardless of what any religion promises. In other words, if you want to go to heaven—whichever heaven it might be—you need to act kindly toward everyone, making people’s lives better and striving to create a utopia for all.
The Unchangeable Nature of Islam
Ultimately, the word of Allah is considered eternal and unchangeable, meaning Islam cannot be reformed or adapted. So while some may argue for modernizing Islam, suggesting that certain parts of its texts are tied to past eras, events, or wars, the sacred text is clear: it is not possible. All perceived good and bad aspects of the religion are here to stay. Progressive interpretations can never fully take root, as they will always be crushed by conservatives, who repeatedly come to power.
Given this, I believe we can always find good and bad in anything. However, we also need to be realistic: we simply can’t reform Islam or change the minds of billions of people who follow it, regardless of how much we’d like to do so. We simply can’t negotiate with someone who doesn’t want to change, who can’t change, and who wants to kill us—especially when their moral compass allows them to smile, lie, and deceive us, waiting for the perfect moment to strike, a tactic Muslims have employed on many occasions.
Left-Wing Ideals and Islam
I consider myself a left-wing idealist. I value progressive thinking, questioning the status quo, and ultimately striving to create a truly happy society—a utopia on Earth today. This aligns with left-wing thinking, as it requires progressive ideas to achieve such a goal.
However, when it comes to Islam, I have to go right. After all, the woke liberal left often tries to protect Islam and its associated violence by invoking equality—a noble pursuit. Left-wing parties advocate for integrating all religions, arguing that the happiest society is one with equality for women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and others with similar access levels. So when people express homophobia, Islamophobia, or other forms of discrimination, it conflicts with the progressive left’s worldview, leading them to punish those who disagree. However, indirectly, this promotes the integration of Islam into our societies.
The ignorance of the left is that Islam is not interested in integration but in the assimilation of the entire world under Islam. Muslims aren’t your friends but enemies waiting to strike you down. This is compatible with what we see happening today, as Islam is ultimately not a peaceful religion interested in coexistence. It is a religion of war. Followers of Islam are tasked with converting the entire world, at any cost, and many take this task with zealous intent.
Just read some of the following verses from the Quran:
- 9:5 – Slay unbelievers wherever you find them.
- 9:29 – Fight those who do not believe in Allah.
- 8:39 – Fight them until there is no more disbelief.
- 47:4 – Strike the necks of the nonbelievers.
- 4:89 – Seize them and kill them wherever you find them.
- 5:33 – Execute or crucify those who wage war against Allah.
- 3:151 – Terrorize the hearts of nonbelievers.
- 9:123 – Make war on nonbelievers near you.
- 6:14 – Allah loves those who make war in His cause.
- 8:60 – Prepare for war against nonbelievers.
- 8:12 – Cast terror into their hearts, strike their necks, and cut off their fingers.
- 33:50 – Your captives of war are your sexual slaves.
- 2:216 – You are required to make war on the nations or nonbelievers.
- 5:51 – Do not tolerate or befriend Jews or Christians.
- 2:15 – It is not you who killed nonbelievers but Allah.
- 3:142 – You will not enter paradise without making war on nonbelievers.
- 24:55 – Allah has given Muslims authority over all lands.
- 2:193 – Fight until there is only Islam.
- 60:4 – There must be only hatred and enmity between Islam and nonbelievers.
While some people will say that these verses are taken out of context or require interpretation—such as scholars who argue that verses like 9:5 refer to specific historical conflicts rather than a general command—extremist Islamists, who still hold significant influence in Islam, often interpret them exactly as stated. So, I don’t accept the “out of context” interpretation. If you want to stop misinterpretation, change the Quran. Stop the violence, bombing, discrimination, killing, slavery, rape, and other morally inhumane practices. Match actions with what you preach, because until now, all we see is violence.
The Fastest-Growing Religion

When I first started writing this blog, I began examining the most common elements that make people happy or unhappy. Then, I decided to look at different religions, countries, and world events, commenting on them. However, somehow, I always left Islam and Islamic countries for last, as I didn’t feel educated enough, unable, or unwilling to form an opinion about them. I was too constrained by my left-wing sensitivity, which told me we needed to love and welcome everyone.
However, eventually, I began noticing trends that concerned me: a significant portion of terrorist attacks, acts of violence, rape cases, and other disruptions of peace and prosperity around the world were disproportionately caused by Muslims. Sure, there are bad apples in every culture, but Muslims stand out for their violence—a trend that becomes clear when they join other cultures, as violence of all kinds spikes dramatically.
This is perhaps why so many people are afraid to voice their opinions. Seeing the violence, they fear getting caught in the middle, so they prefer to look away. We’ve grown accustomed to having freedom of speech, as well as safety and security, but slowly we feel that our neighborhoods are somehow becoming more dangerous and violent, though we can’t clearly say why. We turn away and blindly accept people who cause the most harm, shying away from examining the demographics, trying to show compassion, provide social welfare, and offer opportunities to people who aren’t interested in showing any to us.
Our thesis is: if other people see how good we have it here, they will consciously want to stop their anger and violence, peacefully integrate into our society, and become exemplary citizens. They will want to prove to us that they want to stay and enjoy the lifestyle we worked so hard to create.
However, Islamic values are incompatible with ours. Muslims are commanded to conquer and kill all non-Muslim people and to convert the whole world to Islam. They are told to lie, integrate, and take over countries, to repress, rape, and enslave women, to force them to wear hijabs, to control whom they marry and what they do, to kill all non-believers, to promote halal food, to build mosques, and much more.
And this is why it was so hard to write this blog post. First, because I consider myself a happy and therefore peaceful guy. Second, because I come from the left, and I’d love to see the world thrive, so I don’t like wars or violence of any kind. Third, my aversion to violence makes me want to look for the good in people. Fourth, I didn’t understand Islam and didn’t see that its followers are not interested in peaceful coexistence but in conquest and subjugation. I didn’t know that it is morally okay for them to lie to me and smile at me to gain my sympathy while secretly imagining hurting me in different ways. Fifth, there is a political and ideological machine in play—one that is largely immoral, finely tuned, and well-resourced—and it is wages war on all countries in the world simultaneously, making its soldiers slip through the cracks wherever we allow them, only to expand and attempt to take over, eventually replacing existing governments, people, and cultures with Islam.
So while I hate to write about Islam’s imperialistic, toxic, violent, and expanding tendencies, I now see it as the reason why we have so much stress, negativity, safety concerns, growing global unrest, and ultimately unhappiness. This is why I can no longer keep quiet. I will speak out against this religion, calling for an end to its propagation and violence.
The Ban Against Islamophobia
In Norway, the use of the term “Islamophobia” has just been banned, as officials argue it prevents people from addressing real, daily problems. Similarly, while writing this blog post, I was repeatedly warned that the material is considered “sensitive” or even “harmful” to some readers. However, this is only because we have become too politically correct. We avoid connecting violence to a certain demographic to prevent public bias or unrest, even though reality shows that it is predominantly the same demographic creating many of these issues.
This ban on “Islamophobia” is also important because, in some countries, even suggesting that some violence is caused by Islam can get you arrested. People who express concerns about Islam are punished for speaking out against its violence, as everyone fears a negative reaction from Muslims—and that they will respond with more violence. It makes no sense. This fear of “Islamophobia” protects Islam, punishes citizens, and invites Muslims to integrate without accountability. It results in softer punishments when they misbehave, a lack of tracking of their actions, and disregard for their disproportionate crimes. There is no examination of whether they are actually integrating, no understanding of Islam, and no realization that this is exactly how Islam propagates itself. People fail to see that, as soon as Islam takes over, it will kill millions—including women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and other marginalized groups.
Unfortunately, illegal immigration and the consequent spread of Islam are not driven by a desire to escape poor conditions and integrate into host countries. If that were the case—if they were genuinely interested in taking advantage of a host country’s generosity to build a better life—it would be ideal, and there would be no need for this article. However, most of these individuals are not interested in assimilation, integration, getting jobs, learning the local language, or trying to improve not only their own lives but also those of the local citizens who kindly allowed them to stay. Instead, immigration has become an issue because they hate us—and as a result, they want to hurt us. This brings me to how exactly this process is unfolding worldwide.
The Stages of Islamic Conquest
To this extent, Islam is a violent religion that promotes violence, but I have Muslim friends, and I’ve met some of the nicest people who are Muslim. As such, I’m sure there are nice Muslims out there—people who oppose Islamic violence, who were forced to live under Islamic rule, who want to escape persecution, and who want happiness and peace. If there are people like this, I hope you realize that you aren’t really Muslim, as your religion tells you to kill or subjugate me and other non-believers. To this extent, I reiterate that this blog post may be harsh toward Islam, but not toward Muslim people.
It’s like in Christianity: there are bad and violent people, even though Christianity is a religion of peace, with Jesus asking people not to commit violence or go to war. As such, Christianity is a religion of peace, but not all Christians are good people—and therefore, they aren’t truly Christian, if that makes sense.
However, due to the nature of Islam and its scriptures, it can be hard to distinguish the good from the bad. After all, many Muslims often act like sleeper agents: they come to our countries as traders, immigrants, or refugees—and then the problems start.
The first stage comes when Muslims are in the minority. They engage in non-violent tactics to gain control, exploiting local sympathy, naivety, and trust. They appear peaceful, testing how much ground they can cover, progressively pushing for more control and integration while waiting for their numbers to grow. This can happen through migration—whether via asylum-seeking, legal, or illegal means—willing conversion, bringing over their families and friends, having large families, and outbreeding local populations, often with significantly more children than native populations. At this stage, if you challenge Islam, they will say, “to each their own religion,” calling for peaceful coexistence and integration into society.
Eventually, we reach the second stage. Islam reaches a certain number, and its followers begin exercising power in more visible ways. Halal meat is introduced, you see more hijabs on the streets, Muslim politicians come into power, Muslims gather in large numbers in public spaces, public prayer becomes commonplace, mosques are built in large numbers, mosques start playing calls to prayer and music toward the streets, Sharia law is implemented, rape cases grow exponentially, and violence becomes commonplace. A great example of this second stage is whats happening currently happening in the UK.
The third stage is when Muslims become the majority. This is when people are forced to convert to Islam or face death, women’s rights are removed, people are enslaved, and non-believers are killed by the millions. Religious police enforce the suppression of non-Muslims, state-enforced Islamic doctrine becomes law, government policies, education, and media increasingly reflect Islamic values, and violent enforcement of Islam through militant groups becomes the norm. This is currently happening in Nigeria, where millions of non-Muslims are being killed every day.
After all, the Quran states: “Do not tolerate or befriend Jews or Christians” (5:51), so morality is rather flexible in Islam. It is acceptable to lie to non-believers, pretending to befriend them, only to later “slay unbelievers wherever you find them” (9:5). This has already happened in over 50 Muslim-majority countries, and it is happening to different degrees on a global stage. So the question is: Can we really trust nice Muslims?
Immigration and Its Consequences
Immigration from every religion and background brings some bad apples, but in the case of Islam, there are substantially more bad apples—even entire trees. For example, countries like the UK, Germany, Spain, and many others in the EU are fighting for their culture and existence, threatened by Islam from within. Statistics show that violence, terrorist attacks, rape, homicide, theft, and other problems are exponentially rising and are disproportionately attributed to Muslim nationals. In contrast, in countries like Poland—which accepts no Islamic immigration but welcomes immigrants from other regions, such as Ukraine—these statistics are among the lowest in Europe.
I say “Muslim” not out of racism. Originally, I didn’t care where people were from—I just disliked troublemakers, or people who make others’ lives worse. However, if we look at the data, a substantial number of troublemakers in the Western world are of Muslim origin.
As the number of Muslims increases, they build more mosques, impose their cultural views on society, and progressively implement bolder tactics to gain control. Eventually, they use violence, intimidation, and Sharia law. This leads to social unrest, crime, rape, terrorism, and murder—all of which are accepted under Islam as valid tactics to assimilate entire countries. The minority becomes the majority, and Islam begins by killing non-believers or forcing them to convert.
In countries like the UK, authorities often seem to prioritize protecting immigrants—sometimes at the expense of the local population—out of fear of being labeled racist. They house immigrants in hotels, paying as much as £300 per night for private rooms, then relocate them to council-funded housing in local neighborhoods. These individuals are placed on welfare, costing taxpayers billions—money that could otherwise be spent on their own citizens. Authorities frequently skip background checks, risk assessments, and tracking of these individuals. They provide no integration manuals, make no effort to monitor integration progress, and instead focus on preserving their image as “nice people.” Offenders are often excused with claims like “they just don’t know better,” and even after committing unforgivable acts, they are sent to sensitivity or counseling programs. Ultimately, local citizens are punished for speaking out when they become victims of violence at the hands of these immigrants.
Other countries are forced to enforce their rape laws more strictly. Eventually, people realize that half-measures do nothing to change the minds of Muslims, who were never going to integrate into society—they simply lied and waited. The only real way to address this invasion is by deporting entire communities, regardless of who is right or wrong.
From Mecca to the Modern Era
Islam originated in Mecca (modern-day Saudi Arabia) in the early 7th century, when the Prophet Muhammad received his first revelations in a cave near the city, marking the beginning of Islam. At the time of its emergence, none of the modern-day Muslim-majority countries were originally Islamic. Islam began in the Arabian Peninsula (Mecca and Medina) and spread gradually through conquest, trade, missionary work, and cultural influence. While it did not spread exclusively through violence, we cannot disregard the role of military campaigns, as entire regions were subjugated to Islam, losing their original religions in the process.
Historical records describe Muhammad as a military leader who engaged in warfare—a warlord, if you will. He married 11 wives, including Aisha, who was 6 years old at the time of marriage (with the marriage consummated when she was 9, according to hadith sources like Sahih al-Bukhari). He also owned many slaves. During his lifetime, Muhammad led or participated in over 20 military campaigns. Before his death, he declared, “Fight those who do not believe in Allah… until they pay the jizyah willingly while humbled” (Quran 9:29). This wasn’t spiritual guidance—it was a declaration of war. The result was a rapidly expanding political and religious system: Islam. After his death, the military machine is still in place, and over 1,400 years, it has conquered vast territories, and now encompasses a quarter of the world’s population, over 50 Muslim-majority countries, and influences many more.
Today, Islam has expanded across regions with diverse religious backgrounds, conquering or converting populations that were originally Christian, Zoroastrian, Hindu, Buddhist, Animist, or pagan. Specifically, here is a list of Muslim-majority countries:
- Middle East and Caucasus: Saudi Arabia, Iran, Yemen, Oman, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Turkey, Azerbaijan
- Africa: Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Djibouti, Somalia, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, Niger, Chad, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Mauritania, Comoros, Eritrea
- Central Asia: Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan
- South Asia: Pakistan, Bangladesh, Maldives
- Southeast Asia: Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei
- Europe: Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Since its inception, Islam has covered a lot of ground and continues to push for more, likely converting many more countries in the coming centuries using the same tactics that have proven effective time and again. At this point, we might say Islam is not just a religion but a self-reinforcing, well-oiled war machine that propagates itself—not through the will of God, but through actions described in the Quran. For example, people are told to pray five times a day, and if they don’t, some claim they are worse than infidels and deserve hell. If you try to leave Islam, you are threatened with death. Islam provides many tools to manipulate, threaten, and coerce people into submission.
There are many laws in Islam that do not promote the well-being of its citizens, particularly for women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and non-believers. The religion is highly automated and effective—so much so that it is the second-largest religion in the world and the fastest-growing, despite its prophet having died long ago.
However, Muslim countries do not seem interested in creating highly functional, thriving societies. If they were, there would be more countries where people could stay and thrive (with the exception of the UAE, which is trying to distance itself from the rest of the Muslim world). I’d say that this is because during Muhammad’s life, there was just war, so there was simply no need to create a peaceful, loving, and well-integrated society. As a result, the scriptures do not focus enough on this—at least not to the point where we can see Islam prioritizing the creation of utopias on Earth. Instead, Islam seems to promote genocide, war, subjugation, and death, which is why there is so much immigration to the West. If Islam truly prioritized creating utopias on Earth, fewer people would feel the need to leave, and more would want to immigrate to Islamic countries—but this is simply not the case.
Women Under Islam
In my writing, my thesis is: “Happy wife, happy life.” By this, I mean that if we keep the female population happy, everyone benefits. However, Islam has taken a different approach.
- In 15 majority-Muslim countries, women are legally required to obey their husbands.
- 4Guardianship laws require women to obtain permission from a husband or male guardian for key life decisions, including travel, employment, education, and medical procedures.
- Honor killings involve women being murdered by their own family members—most often husbands, fathers, or brothers—to protect or restore the family’s perceived “honor.” This can occur in response to perceived breaches of cultural, social, or religious norms, such as refusing arranged marriages, seeking divorce, or engaging in unapproved relationships.
- Female genital mutilation is practiced in 30 countries.
- 104 countries legally bar women from certain jobs.
- 650 million women alive today were married as children.
- 59 countries have no laws against workplace sexual harassment, and many lack laws against domestic violence or spousal rape.
- 20 countries have “marry-your-rapist” laws.
- There are 57 countries with Sharia law, and Sharia councils exist in the UK, Canada, Australia, and the USA.
- Hijabs are enforced in many countries, forcing women to cover their bodies completely.
In the West, we have undergone a structural revolution, pushing for equal rights for women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and other marginalized groups. For example, unlike past generations, women are now free to walk around alone or in groups, dress as they wish, and live without the need for male supervision. In some ways, they have even overtaken men, such as in education, where men are now statistically falling behind. In many ways, women have become a driving force of our society. Through our openness and collaboration, we are teaching each other to be better human beings, aiming to create a better world for all. We can proudly say we are addressing historical injustices, and while there is still room for progress, we have already made great achievements—and everyone is better off because of it.
The same cannot be said for many Muslim-majority countries, where women’s rights are neither protected nor enforced. There is no equality of opportunity, let alone gender equality. Women are simply not seen as equal to men. This is without even mentioning other forms of discrimination, such as the persecution of LGBTQ+ individuals, who are often put to death for their identity or beliefs.
Then, illegal immigrants come to the West, and some assume they are free to rape local women, exploit social benefits, and destroy culture and national identities in countless other ways. They create conflict, unrest, and violence because that is what they are used to in their countries—and because their religion tells them to do it, too. So when we speak out against Islam, we refer to such behaviors, which oppose and refuse to integrate with our values.
Attack on Western Civilization
We are also at a breaking point. More and more countries are reaching the same conclusions I’ve presented. They realize that the attack on Western civilization is here. People are speaking out against what makes them unhappy and can no longer ignore the violence others engage in. The West can no longer remain silent. More countries are taking note and addressing this international invasion. Politicians have noticed that the open-borders experiment has failed. They are progressively taking steps to reassert national identities, as is already happening in Poland, Hungary, and the USA, with many other countries following suit. Others are still waking up to this grim reality—or they will soon.
Due to the growing tensions Muslims have created, countries are banning Sharia law, hijabs, and halal meat, removing Muslims from positions of power, closing mosques, deporting violent offenders, cutting off welfare for those who refuse to integrate, and revisiting immigration laws to reaffirm political and religious sovereignty. These measures are predominantly directed toward Muslims and their religion, as they have unfortunately proven to be the primary source of these problems. This may sound harsh, but Islam has weaponized immigration, weaponized claims of Islamophobia, and suppressed open discussion about the issues we face today. Muslims are forcefully moving into other people’s neighborhoods, demanding compassion and welfare, while giving only pain in return and refusing to conform.
Crusade Against Islam
Islam is not a religion conducive to happiness, peace, or well-being—for its own followers or anyone else in the world. It actively promotes negativity and harm, affecting countless people globally, and it has done so for generations. So imagine if one day it achieved total control. What are we going to do to prevent it?
Islam is like a decentralized dictatorship that wages a silent war on the world, even against its own people, committing genocide on a global scale. Muslims are not peaceful—they cannot, do not want to, and are unable to stop. As long as their scriptures promote violence, we are all at war. They have declared an existential war on the entire world, and as long as you are not Muslim, you are their enemy.
Currently, one-quarter of the world’s population—2 billion people—are Muslim. Many, I’m sure, were converted against their will or raised under Islam, so they don’t know any better. While we might not be able to help those already converted, perhaps we can still save future generations. Islam has already won many battles, so we should consider ourselves lucky to still be free and not under its rule, because many people do not have that luxury. This is a 1,400-year-old war we have inherited from previous generations—a war the enemy has never forgotten it is fighting.
To this extent, I once read that the Crusades were not launched to conquer Islam, but rather as a response to its aggression, to regain lost territory. Similarly, a global response may need to be considered to address the problem of Islamic rule and its effect on global well-being. We need to win the war locally, but we must also help our neighbors do the same. Islam has a global presence, and everyone is under attack in similar ways. Indeed, many countries—recently converted or in the process of being forcefully converted to Islam—are suffering under its rule. Fighting them exclusively on a local level, while the rest of the world falls, is exactly how we allow them to win.
What We Need to Do
We need to call out Islam wherever we see it, reminding each other of what will happen if this isn’t addressed. There simply cannot be a half-hearted response to this issue. If we don’t address it now—while people are waking up to the problem and opposition to Islam is at its highest—they will simply go back to pretending to be peaceful. Then, once their numbers grow again, they will attack us when we least expect it, postponing the conflict for future generations. It’s like not removing a cancer in its entirety—it will only come back.
As such, we need to clean our streets, removing all sympathizers and all ways they identify themselves, whether through flags, mosques, chants, hijabs, or any other means. It all has to go. We need to educate each other about the danger Islam poses to the safety and well-being of the Western world—and the entire world. We need better immigration controls, risk assessments, and lie detection. We need to fight back by regaining control of our borders, but we must also help our neighbors and their neighbors. If someone is Muslim, they need to prove repeatedly that they are here to integrate, and they must be held accountable for the violence of their peers.
However, further steps may be necessary. These measures should apply not only to individuals but to entire communities—families, friends, coworkers, imams, and anyone associated with aggressors. These individuals should have intervened to prevent conflict and send a strong message that such behavior is not tolerated. Muslims themselves must work to maintain peace if they want to stay in the country. They must prevent their kin from creating problems in the first place and take full responsibility for the place they call home. Punishments could include immediate deportation, regardless of legal status, even for second- or third-generation families. In such cases, entire families, friends, and communities may need to be reviewed, as a bad individual is rarely radicalized alone—close associates often play a role.
Furthermore, what I’m proposing is not new. Many people are fed up with uncontrolled immigration and the problems it brings to peaceful communities. Countries like Norway, the USA, Germany, and Australia are already removing entire Muslim communities, while places like Nigeria, France, the UK, and Spain are still suffering under the onslaught of problem-causing groups and will soon need strong reforms.
The Way of a Peaceful Warrior
Ultimately, we can say that the root of the issue is human nature, as people have an innate capacity for violence. However, I don’t believe we are doomed to our violent tendencies. Instead, we can learn to channel them in productive ways.
In fact, I see this almost as a blessing in disguise. In Spain, for example, people first saw each other as enemies, then their neighbors (e.g., Portugal, France, and the UK), then Latino immigrants, then immigrants from Africa (excluding those of Islamic origin). But now, I see all these previously opposed groups as my best friends, people who genuinely want to create a better world together. In a strange way, I feel even more connected to and loving toward my fellow human beings, as Muslims now provide an easy target to channel our aggression. So let’s not waste it on fighting each other. Let’s put aside our differences and unite against this common enemy.
Additionally, I’m a happy person and not interested in violence. As far as I’m concerned, I want to be a peaceful warrior—someone who doesn’t fight with hate in their heart, but rather because others want to hurt me, my friends, and my way of life. After all, they have declared an existential war on me.
That being said, I didn’t enjoy writing this blog post one bit. Generally speaking, I dislike violence of any kind and will call it out wherever I see it. At the same time, I feel I’ve learned a lot about how the world really works, and I’ve identified Islam as a major source of discontent, causing immense negativity and pain for countless people around the world. Now, I better understand what it will take to address all that pain and create a functioning utopia on Earth for all its people. In essence, Islam must go.
Conclusion
Ultimately, I’m interested in maximizing happiness (hence Optimal Happiness) for everyone, everywhere in the world. My ultimate goal is to create a global open-border utopia we can all enjoy, regardless of religion, identity, nationality, or belief. This utopia would work, too, as long as everyone everywhere has enough to be happy wherever they find themselves. As such, immigration wouldn’t be an issue, as everyone would have enough, and it would become an option rather than something people feel they have to exercise. However, most countries aren’t ready to embrace my vision of utopia, so there is still a way to go before we can get there.
I realize that certain bad apples have to be addressed—again, Islam is one of these bad apples. I personally don’t hold anything against Muslims, as they are the ones being aggressive, not me. There are good and bad apples in every country in the world, but ultimately, there seems to be more bad apples connected by their Muslim roots.
What I’m proposing is not new. I didn’t even have to look hard to find the information I wrote here. In many ways, I just repeated what others are already saying. Ultimately, I just care about Islam’s effect on global and local well-being.
Of course, this blog post is not all-encompassing. I’m sure I could have said much more—both good and bad—about this religion. Entire books can be written on the subject. However, from the perspective of happiness, this is a good start, especially if someone from Islam wants to engage in a discussion. To that end, I’d urge them to address first the points mentioned here.
Of course, the Western world also engages in many negative behaviors and has much to answer for historically. However, the Western world is not the aggressor here, and I will review its own faults in different blog posts, suggesting at least some critical thinking and self-reflection on our Western side. For now, Islam has to answer for its sins.
Do you agree with this analysis?
Stay happy.
