I love the playful quote: “Don’t forget to drink water so you stay hydrated while you suffer” because it’s both true and cryptic. Most people are told they don’t drink enough water (or other hydrating liquids), and they do suffer. Yet, at least some of that suffering stems from not drinking enough water—or failing to take other correct actions (or avoiding the wrong ones).
Drinking water alone won’t resolve all negative emotions, but it can ease at least one. And there’s more you can do:
- Eat clean food while you suffer.
- Avoid overeating while you suffer.
- Get enough physical exercise while you suffer.
- And so on.
Happiness often depends on a list of actions, and most people miss not just one, but many of them. Then they come to my practice and say, “I don’t know why this is happening.” The answer is usually simpler than they think. The formula for happiness isn’t as elusive or expensive as most believe. You can become happy today—and stay happy—by drinking enough water and adopting a few other habits. I’ll cover all of this in my Masterclass on Happiness.
I hope to see you there!
Stay happy, and drink enough water while you suffer.
