I remember 2025 already being an incredibly chaotic year. So much happened, but I believe 2026 is shaping up to be even wilder—and it’s already proving me right.
Take AI, for example. AI technologies are disrupting industries at an unprecedented scale, creating some jobs while eliminating others on a level we’ve never seen before. This shift is redistributing wealth in dramatic ways, likely making the rich richer and the poor poorer, with most people left uncertain about where they’ll end up in the middle of it all. Of course, some of those who lose their jobs will find new ones, but not everyone will be able to adapt to such a rapidly changing environment.
Then there are the Epstein files—an absolute storm of revelations. Every day, we learn more about the world, our leaders, and just how chaotic things already were. Now, we have proof, and everyone is aware of it. The jury is still out on where all of this will lead.
And, of course, there’s Trump. Rumor has it he appears in the Epstein files, though he denies it. Meanwhile, the chaos surrounding his administration continues unabated. (By the way, it’s only been a year since his re-election, so he’ll remain in power for another three. If you think things are wild now, just wait.) Every other day, something new emerges, and even his most loyal supporters are starting to question his presidency.
This isn’t even touching on the countless other crises unfolding around the world—issues that used to dominate headlines but now barely register, despite affecting millions, if not billions, of lives.
In this way, if you find that people are behaving crazy, I think it has to do with everything that happened before 2026, which already created a global mental health crisis. But now, current events are just going to take everything to a whole new level.
I’m not here to push my opinion—whether it’s right or wrong—but my overall point is clear: the world is getting crazier by the day. And I think things will get worse before they get better.
This instability will impact the lives, well-being, and happiness of so many people. That’s why spaces like this blog are so important: they help us stay grounded and better prepared for whatever the future holds.
If you agree that 2026 is off to a chaotic start and you’re looking for ways to make it feel a little more manageable, I invite you to explore more of the content here.
Stay sane and happy.
