Reach Limitless Potential by Doing Limitless Action

Limitless potential

I’m guilty of not being the best version I can be because I’m limiting my daily actions to only a handful of action points, which I don’t allow myself to exceed. Does that sound familiar?

This has to do with confidence, as I have many life goals and I know how to organize them well. But as soon as I finish those few tasks, I become overwhelmed by doing “a lot,” and I fall back into the habit of procrastination, justifying it as reaching my daily limit of energy (whether physical or mental).

As a result, at the end of the day, I often think that I could have done more. I promise myself that I’ll do more tomorrow, only to repeat this cycle day in and day out.

This strategy seems to keep me going, but just barely, as I’m only taking enough action to maintain a reasonably comfortable life. Nevertheless, I consider myself fortunate to have established this routine, as many people give up before achieving enough to enjoy a comfortable life. They haven’t taken enough consistent action in their daily lives, and as a result, they continue to suffer.

However, I suffer too, because I’m not living up to my full human potential and this article serves me as a reminder that I don’t have to settle for being average. I don’t have to settle for just completing a few tasks before giving up on the day

It’s like playing poker with unlimited chips. Most people choose to play with a small number of chips each day, not realizing that they have a limitless supply and can actually play far more hands than they initially thought. Whether they win or lose doesn’t matter. What matters is that they can and should be playing more, pushing themselves until they’re so tired that they fall asleep from exhaustion because they can’t do any more, only to wake up the next day and repeat the process.

Living with more action is the path to personal greatness, to becoming whoever we want to be, and breaking free from the chains of mediocrity or not-enoughness that hold us back. It’s a reminder to give ourselves a wake-up call and say:

I can do so much more with my day, today, tomorrow, and forever. I believe it. I will act on it. And I deserve nothing less than a magnificent life full of adventure and without limits.
