Secret Behind Looking Half Your Age In One Product

Meet Yvonne Swann. She is best known for appearing on Oprah Winfrey and shocking everyone with her age. You see, everyone thought she looked 15 to 30 years younger than she actually is and at 86 years old today she looks and acts half her age.

Her secret isn’t meditation, eating well, or maintaining a generally healthy lifestyle, although these things certainly help. Instead, it is the daily use of moisturizer.

When I first heard about this, I was skeptical. However, I have a history of listening to people, researching their advice, and testing it out in my own life. So, I tried applying moisturizer and was shocked at how much better my skin looked after just a few days. My skin looked visibly brighter, cleaner, and healthier.

Moisturizer is commonly used by women, but men can also benefit from the well-researched knowledge of the opposite gender. Over the years, women have tested various creams, treatments, and beauty products. While it may not be considered culturally “manly” to use these products, applying moisturizer does not mean we have to follow all of women’s beauty practices, such as using makeup. However, culture is constantly changing, with men in countries like Japan and Korea already using makeup, moisturizer, and other beauty products. So while it isn’t common to do it yet in the West, who knows, maybe one day it will become popular here too (stranger things have happened). Meanwhile, we can selectively look at women’s knowledge and take these things that work, which in our case is moisturizer.

As I always say, if millions of people are doing something that we aren’t doing and it makes sense to them, there may just be some truth to it that could positively change our lives. So even when an idea may not initially resonate with us, if it makes sense to many other people, it is worth, at the very least, investigating why it makes sense to them, instead of outright dismissing it.

On a side note, this is exactly how I wrote half of my book – by being curious, open-minded, and willing to investigate topics and points of view that are supported by millions of other people, even if they don’t originally make sense to me.

In the case of moisturizer, with the depletion of the ozone layer and increasing pollution, our skin is exposed to more environmental stressors than ever before. This is why using a moisturizer is crucial in providing our skin with the necessary support and protection it needs. By replenishing the lost moisture and providing essential nutrients, moisturizers help keep our skin hydrated and healthy.

Additionally, this is why we should always use sunscreen whenever we step outside our home, even in the winter or on a cloudy day. Our environment has changed, and pollution and the sun are now stronger and more damaging than ever before to our skin.
Ideally, we should also incorporate regular face masks into our skincare routine. This may seem time-consuming, but it can have amazing benefits for how we look and therefore feel. It’s no surprise that many women (and even some men) are beginning to understand the importance of using a combination of moisturizers, sunscreen, and face masks. It’s time for the rest of us to catch on and make this common secret a part of our daily routine!
