Today, my Mac OS decided to update, and after the update was complete, the first thing I did was click around this new interface to see what was updated, making sure I knew all the new tools. Additionally, I searched on Google, TikTok, and YouTube to learn more about what this update really offers.
I did all of this based on the advice of my mentor, who recommended that I regularly review the tools I use the most. This makes sense, as we live in a world of constant growth, updates, and improvement. Major companies are always improving and introducing new tools to their products and services, anticipating our needs and striving to simplify our lives. However, often we are unaware of these changes, as we never take the time to explore and familiarize ourselves with the updates, unnecessarily complicating our lives by our inaction.
This process may seem time-consuming, but it often isn’t, especially if we skip the unnecessary information and focus on understanding the most important features. I’m not suggesting that we become experts in every detail of life, but it’s beneficial to have a general understanding of how things work.
This is how I have learned so much about how the world works, how I have researched a lot of material for this blog, and how I am able to stay more productive than many others. Simply, I often find interesting features I didn’t know about before that definitely improve my productivity in a major way. I always make sure to measure three times before making one cut, which is a metaphor for conducting research in order to make my life easier.
As a result, I have made a note to review my tools, such as my social media channels, the websites I manage, and other interfaces like my Mac OS, every six months. Initially, organizing oneself at this level may seem time-consuming, but ultimately, it saves more time than it wastes.
By staying organized, preparing in advance for our tasks, and proactively researching, we can learn how to lead our lives in the easiest possible way. This effort replaces hard physical work with a more intellectual approach, which ultimately leads to more success and happiness.
So, do you truly understand the tools you are using? Are you periodically reviewing them? If so, you are part of the click-around productivity culture.

Great stuff! I sometimes struggles with operating systems and interfaces, so I’ll give this a shot.
In a world of AI, fast-progressing technology, and ever-evolving tools, we all face similar challenges. So don’t worry and keep moving forward! You’re not behind. We’re all in the same boat perpetually trying to catch up with ongoing progress.
